Records are designed as a private diary first. Sharing with a care team is intended to be opt-in, specific and reversible. Export and deletion rights are part of the product design.
KidneyMate collects the minimum needed to support self-management and care. Health information will not be sold, rented or used for advertising.
The architecture of trust
The most important safety feature is a person.
Nothing the system notices becomes clinical action without a qualified person reviewing it, weighing it against the patient’s context and deciding.
Consent changes, access to records, reviews and target updates are intended to be traceable. Pilot governance comes before patient records move.

Bounded, explainable and never pretending to be a clinician.
The core product direction begins with transparent rules and trends a clinician can inspect end to end. The website explainer is limited to approved general education and refuses diagnosis, medication changes and treatment decisions.
Urgent language is redirected to Australian emergency pathways. Free-text questions should not contain identifiable health information.
